Preparing your PC for AI Zeny
Most setup problems come from the PC, not from AI Zeny. Work through this list before you install, and the rest of setup goes in order.
Facts reviewed on
Choose the PC
- Use the PC that holds your BUSY data or can reach it, running 64-bit Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 and newer.
- In Local mode that PC answers every live request, so it needs to be on and connected whenever your systems ask for data. If it is switched off at night, consider whether Cloud mode suits the requests you make after hours.
- Installing needs Windows administrator approval on that PC.
Check where each BUSY company is kept
- Microsoft Access companies: install the 64-bit Microsoft Access ODBC driver, and make sure the BUSY data folder is readable by the AI Zeny service account.
- SQL Server companies: no extra driver. Decide whether the AI Zeny service account signs in to SQL Server (Windows sign-in) or whether you use a SQL Server login.
- Note each company’s BUSY company code and the financial years you want to allow, written as four-digit starting years (2026 means April 2026 to March 2027).
Check the network
- The PC needs an internet connection to AI Zeny and to your organization’s Pusher account.
- If software on your own network will use the Local API, it answers private local-network addresses only.
Have the accounts ready
- An email address and a WhatsApp number for the organization administrator; both are confirmed with codes.
- A Pusher account for your organization, where you create a Channels app.
Normal AI Zeny usage is expected to fit Pusher’s free plan, based on Pusher’s published limits checked on 28 September 2026. Pusher sets its own plans, prices and capacity and may change them; AI Zeny does not guarantee them.
Then follow the eight onboarding steps. The full list of supported setups is on system requirements.
