Is AI Zeny a BUSY add-on?

- It is not sold, licensed or supported by the makers of BUSY, and it does not replace BUSY, your BUSY licence or BUSY’s own support and training.
- You keep using BUSY as you do today; AI Zeny gives your other tools, your team and your automations access to its data.

Through the public API with a token, or the Local API on your network — and in Cloud mode from a synchronized snapshot.
What you need to set up
- BUSY Accounting on a 64-bit Windows PC, with its companies on SQL Server or Access reachable from that PC.
- The AI Zeny Windows app installed on that PC and enrolled with a one-time code from the portal.
- Your own Pusher Channels account, which carries requests between AI Zeny and your PC.
Plus reads your BUSY data, with scripting and Google Sheets; Pro adds accounting writes; Max adds the AI Agent, which is not available yet. Go, below Plus, includes none of these. Every plan, the free trial included, has the end-to-end encrypted BUSY backup. Local mode and Cloud mode are not tied to a plan. The free trial gives Pro-level features, without the AI Agent.
What you control
- You choose which BUSY companies the Windows app can read, and which companies each API token may reach.
- Reading never changes your books; posting a voucher needs your authorization every time.
- You choose Local mode, Cloud mode or both.

Where the data goes
- Live requests are answered by the Windows app on your PC from your BUSY company.
- In Cloud mode an encrypted snapshot is synchronized to AI Zeny’s server so integrations can read it when the PC is off.
Local mode: Requests are answered by the AI Zeny Windows app on your PC. In ordinary operation AI Zeny does not persistently store the accounting data in those answers.
Cloud mode: encrypted snapshots synchronized approximately every 10–15 minutes, readable around the clock. Cloud-mode answers reflect the last completed synchronization, not live data.
Exception, in either mode: with your explicit consent, a small sample can be sent to OpenAI to correct a wrong AI-built query. AI Zeny deletes its own temporary copy after the correction; what OpenAI keeps is governed by OpenAI’s terms.
Limits
- BUSY 21 and newer: full support.
- BUSY 18: partial support — some features are not available.
- Support for BUSY releases that do not exist yet is not promised in advance.
