The two modes

Local mode

Requests are answered by the AI Zeny Windows app on your PC. In ordinary operation AI Zeny does not persistently store the accounting data in those answers.

Exception, in either mode: with your explicit consent, a small sample can be sent to OpenAI to correct a wrong AI-built query. AI Zeny deletes its own temporary copy after the correction; what OpenAI keeps is governed by OpenAI’s terms.

Included in every plan and the free trial.

Cloud mode

Encrypted snapshots of your BUSY data are stored on AI Zeny’s server and synchronized approximately every 10–15 minutes, so your integrations can read the synchronized data around the clock, even when the PC is off.

Cloud-mode answers reflect the last completed synchronization, not live data. Included in every plan and the free trial.

The free trial includes both modes, with Pro-level features.

Which should you choose?

Choose Local mode when

the PC that runs BUSY is on whenever your systems need data;
you want answers read from BUSY at the moment of the request;
you prefer that AI Zeny does not store your accounting data in ordinary operation (the consented AI debugging exception still applies).

Add Cloud mode when

dashboards, apps or portals must keep working when shop or office PCs are off;
data synchronized approximately every 10–15 minutes is fresh enough for the task;
you are on Pro, which includes both modes.

Good to know

Live requests

A live request is answered by the AI Zeny Windows app on your PC, either directly on your network through the Local API or through the AI Zeny public API, which passes the request to your PC and does not store the accounting data it carries.

Scripts always run on your PC

In both modes your JavaScript is stored and run in the AI Zeny Windows app on your PC, never in AI Zeny Cloud.

The AI debugging exception applies in both modes

If a query the AI agent built returns a wrong result, and only with your explicit consent, a small relevant sample of the affected data can be sent to the OpenAI API to correct it. AI Zeny deletes its own temporary copy immediately after the correction; you can delete it yourself at any time, and a nightly cleanup removes anything left.

What OpenAI keeps or does with data sent this way is governed by OpenAI’s own terms, not by AI Zeny’s deletion.
