Cloud mode freshness and your reports
Cloud mode answers from encrypted snapshots synchronized approximately every 10–15 minutes. For many reports that is plenty; for a few, you want the PC’s live answer.
Facts reviewed on
Where snapshots work well
- Dashboards and sheets read in the evening or at weekends, when the office PC is off.
- Customer statements and ledgers shared with customers outside office hours.
- Trends and summaries, where a few minutes make no difference.
Illustrative example — not a customer case
A retailer checks each branch’s day-end summary on a phone at night. The figures are as of the last synchronization, which is fine for that decision.
When the live answer matters
- Right after a change in BUSY — for example checking a voucher that was just posted. Cloud-mode answers reflect the last completed synchronization, not live data.
- Anything that runs a script: scripts run only in the Windows app on the PC, also in Cloud mode.
A voucher is previewed and validated, and posted only after you authorize it; the AI agent never posts one by itself. If a posting fails or its result is unclear, check in BUSY whether it was posted before you try again.
Choosing
You choose Local mode, Cloud mode or both. Neither mode is tied to a plan: every plan and the free trial can use both. See Local mode vs Cloud mode.
