Install AI Zeny for Windows

Install the app on the PC that holds your BUSY data. It takes a few steps, including one Windows warning, because the installer is not code-signed.

Opens the public AI Zeny releases page on GitHub, where you choose the installer.

Installation steps

  1. Step 1: Check the requirements

    Use a 64-bit PC running Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 and newer, with access to the BUSY data you want AI Zeny to read. If your BUSY companies are kept in Microsoft Access, install the 64-bit Microsoft Access ODBC driver on that PC.

  2. Step 2: Download the installer

    Use the download link on the AI Zeny download page. The download is public and needs no sign-in.

  3. Step 3: Run it and answer the Windows prompts

    The installer is not code-signed. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, check that the file came from the AI Zeny download link, choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Installing asks Windows for administrator approval; the prompt lists the publisher as unknown.

  4. Step 4: Let it install the app and its services

    The installer adds AI Zeny for Windows and the Windows services it runs with. The .NET runtime it needs is included.

  5. Step 5: Enrol the PC

    Enter the one-time enrollment code from the portal. The code stays hidden and is not saved on the PC.

  6. Step 6: Create your local unlock

    After enrolling, the app asks you to create a password or PIN that unlocks AI Zeny on this PC. It is not your portal password, and AI Zeny Cloud takes no part in it. Then continue with your Pusher account, the connection test and your BUSY company.

About the Windows warning

Unsigned installer

The installer is not code-signed, so Windows shows it as coming from an unknown publisher and may warn you before it runs. Run only an installer you downloaded through the AI Zeny download link.

The app updates itself automatically and checks each update’s integrity before installing it. That check is separate from code signing and does not change the Windows publisher warning.

Uninstall AI Zeny

  1. Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Apps & features on Windows 10).
  2. Find AI Zeny, choose Uninstall, and follow the uninstaller. Windows asks for administrator approval.

Uninstalling removes the app and its Windows services, but preserves local settings, databases, enrollment credentials, logs and the service account. It does not delete your BUSY books, close your AI Zeny account or remove Cloud-mode snapshots. Contact support if you also need help removing retained AI Zeny data.

Uninstalling is separate from cancelling a paid plan or requesting account closure or deletion.
