Use case
See today’s sales without opening BUSY
Owners and branch managers want sales at a glance. A dashboard — your own app, a sheet or a BI tool — reads BUSY sales figures through the AI Zeny API.

The decision it supports
- How is today going, branch by branch?
- Which branches or products need attention before the day ends?
An example
Illustrative scenario — not a customer story
- A retailer with three branches shows the day’s sales summary on a screen in the office.
- In Cloud mode the screen keeps showing the last synchronized figures after the shop PCs are switched off at night.
How it works
- 1
Step 1: Connect the dashboard
Give the dashboard its own API token, limited to the companies it shows. - 2
Step 2: Read sales figures
It reads the day-end summary and dashboard sales operations. - 3
Step 3: Refresh sensibly
Live answers come from the PC; in Cloud mode figures are as of the last synchronization.
BUSY data it reads
Day-end summary · Day-end detailed report · Dashboard sales summary · Dashboard sales trend · Branches
What you need to set up
- A dashboard or app that can call an API, or a sheet fed by a script.
- An API token for it.
Plus reads your BUSY data, with scripting and Google Sheets; Pro adds accounting writes; Max adds the AI Agent, which is not available yet. Go, below Plus, includes none of these. Every plan, the free trial included, has the end-to-end encrypted BUSY backup. Local mode and Cloud mode are not tied to a plan. The free trial gives Pro-level features, without the AI Agent.
What you control
- The token limits which companies the dashboard can read.
Where the data goes
- Sales figures go from your PC — or, in Cloud mode, from the synchronized snapshot — to your dashboard.
Local mode: Requests are answered by the AI Zeny Windows app on your PC. In ordinary operation AI Zeny does not persistently store the accounting data in those answers.
Cloud mode: encrypted snapshots synchronized approximately every 10–15 minutes, readable around the clock. Cloud-mode answers reflect the last completed synchronization, not live data.
Exception, in either mode: with your explicit consent, a small sample can be sent to OpenAI to correct a wrong AI-built query. AI Zeny deletes its own temporary copy after the correction; what OpenAI keeps is governed by OpenAI’s terms.
Limits
- “Live” applies only to requests answered by the PC; Cloud-mode figures reflect the last synchronization, about every 10–15 minutes.
- A standard read request waits up to 140 seconds. Write and streaming operations have their own limits in the operation reference.
These are technical limits of each request and apply the same way on every plan and during the free trial. The free trial also has its own length and company, financial-year and device limits, shown on the free-trial page and when you register.
