Use case

Show customers their own ledger in your portal

Customers ask for their ledger and statements again and again. Your portal can show them, read from BUSY through AI Zeny — with your portal deciding which customer sees what.

The decision it supports

  • Can customers check their own balance and bills without calling us?

How it works

  1. Step 1: Your portal signs the customer in

Your portal knows which BUSY customer each user is.
  2. Step 2: It reads that customer’s ledger

Through the API, with a token limited to the right company.
  3. Step 3: It shows only their data

Your portal filters by customer before displaying anything.

BUSY data it reads

Customer ledger (one or more years) · Bill-wise statement · One customer's pending bills

What you need to set up

  • A customer portal or app that signs customers in.
  • An API token for the portal.

Plus reads your BUSY data, with scripting and Google Sheets; Pro adds accounting writes; Max adds the AI Agent, which is not available yet. Go, below Plus, includes none of these. Every plan, the free trial included, has the end-to-end encrypted BUSY backup. Local mode and Cloud mode are not tied to a plan. The free trial gives Pro-level features, without the AI Agent.

What you control

  • The API token is company-scoped; which customer sees which ledger is enforced by your portal.

Where the data goes

  • Ledger data goes from your PC through the API to your portal, and from your portal to that customer.

Local mode: Requests are answered by the AI Zeny Windows app on your PC. In ordinary operation AI Zeny does not persistently store the accounting data in those answers.

Cloud mode: encrypted snapshots synchronized approximately every 10–15 minutes, readable around the clock. Cloud-mode answers reflect the last completed synchronization, not live data.

Exception, in either mode: with your explicit consent, a small sample can be sent to OpenAI to correct a wrong AI-built query. AI Zeny deletes its own temporary copy after the correction; what OpenAI keeps is governed by OpenAI’s terms.

Limits

  • AI Zeny does not sign in your customers; your portal must restrict each customer to their own data.
