Google Sheets
Keep BUSY figures in your own Google Sheets
Many teams already plan and report in spreadsheets. A script on your PC reads the BUSY data you choose and writes it into a sheet in your own Google account, so the sheet stays current without copy and paste.
Configurable JavaScript pattern — built with your own scripts and your own provider account; not a native connector

The problem it solves
- Sales and outstanding figures are exported from BUSY and pasted into sheets by hand.
- Different people keep different copies, and nobody is sure which one is current.
How the pattern works
- 1
Step 1: Pick the data
Decide which BUSY report or query feeds the sheet — for example the sales register or pending bills. - 2
Step 2: Write or draft the script
The script reads that data and sends it to your sheet using your Google account’s access. - 3
Step 3: Test, then activate
Test on a copy of the sheet first; activate when the result is right.
BUSY data it reads
Sales register · Customers with pending bills · Dashboard sales summary · Inventory daybooks
What you need to set up
- A Google account and a sheet you control.
- Access for the script to write to that sheet, set up in your Google account.
- A script, written by you or drafted by the AI agent (Max; not available yet).
Plus reads your BUSY data, with scripting and Google Sheets; Pro adds accounting writes; Max adds the AI Agent, which is not available yet. Go, below Plus, includes none of these. Every plan, the free trial included, has the end-to-end encrypted BUSY backup. Local mode and Cloud mode are not tied to a plan. The free trial gives Pro-level features, without the AI Agent.
What you control
- You decide which data leaves BUSY and which sheet receives it.
- You can deactivate the script or revoke its Google access at any time.

Where the data goes
- The selected BUSY data goes from your PC to your Google sheet.
- Whoever can open the sheet can see that data — share it accordingly.
Limits
- A configurable pattern, not a built-in Google connector.
- Google’s own limits and terms apply to your account.
