Rotate a token with an overlap
Rotating issues a new token; you choose how long the old one keeps working so your system can switch over.

Step 1: Start the rotation
In “API tokens”, open the token and choose to rotate it.Step 2: Choose the overlap
“Overlap before the old token stops”: no overlap, or 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes (15 is preselected).Step 3: Confirm and copy
Enter your portal password and choose “Rotate token”. Copy the new token and update your system before the overlap ends.
While the overlap runs, the table shows “Being replaced — stops” with the time.
