What AI Zeny keeps, and what it does not
Your BUSY data lives in BUSY on your PC. What else exists depends on the mode you choose and on what you ask AI Zeny to do.
Case by case
Facts reviewed on 29 September 2026.

| Case | What AI Zeny keeps |
|---|---|
| Local mode — accounting answers | Answered by the AI Zeny Windows app on your PC. In ordinary operation AI Zeny does not persistently store the accounting data in those answers. |
| A live request relayed to your PC | A record of the request: operation, company code, financial years, a one-way digest of the request, timings, size and outcome. The answer is processed in memory to pass it back to your system; AI Zeny does not store, cache or log that accounting data. This describes requests relayed to your PC through the AI Zeny API; Local API requests do not pass through AI Zeny, and Cloud-mode requests are answered from snapshots. |
| Cloud mode — snapshots | Encrypted snapshots of the BUSY data you synchronize, stored on AI Zeny’s servers and refreshed approximately every 10–15 minutes. Answers reflect the last completed synchronization. |
| Your scripts | Nothing in AI Zeny Cloud: scripts are stored and run in the AI Zeny Windows app on your PC, also in Cloud mode. |
| AI debugging exception | Only with your explicit consent, a temporary copy of a small relevant sample, deleted by AI Zeny after the query is corrected, deletable by you at any time, and removed by a nightly cleanup if anything is left. |
| Your account and contact details | Your organization and its administrator (name, email address, WhatsApp number, country), subscription, enrolled PC, Pusher settings (the app secret stored encrypted and write-only), API token records and portal security records. |
What OpenAI keeps or does with data sent this way is governed by OpenAI’s own terms, not by AI Zeny’s deletion. See AI and your data.
How a request travels
A live request (Local mode)
- 1
Step 1: Your system calls the AI Zeny API
With an API token limited to the companies it needs. - 2
Step 2: AI Zeny passes it to your PC
As a signed command through your organization’s own Pusher app, keeping only a record of the request. - 3
Step 3: The Windows app reads BUSY and answers
The answer passes back through AI Zeny to your system without being stored.
A Cloud-mode request
- 1
Step 1: Your PC synchronizes
Encrypted snapshots are refreshed approximately every 10–15 minutes. - 2
Step 2: Your system calls the AI Zeny API
Access is tied to your organization’s authentication and API tokens. - 3
Step 3: AI Zeny answers from the snapshot
Also when the PC is off. Cloud-mode answers reflect the last completed synchronization, not live data.
Three kinds of data, kept apart
- Accounting data: your BUSY companies, handled as the table above describes.
- Account and contact details: what AI Zeny needs to run your organization’s account, described in the privacy notice.
- Website analytics: a separate matter, described in the cookie notice. Neither your accounting data nor your portal activity is website analytics.
AI Zeny is hosted by DigitalOcean in India.
